APPRENTICESHIP
THERE IS NO POINT (OR FUN) IN HAVING A NEW BIKE YOU CAN'T ENJOY!!!
Our Appentriceship program is designed to help those who have little or no experience with riding in a group. You must have a valid motorcycle license and your bike must be street legal and safe to operate in a group setting. You must show proof of insurance and sign a WAIVER OF LIABILITY. You must be a member of the Central Texas Vulcan Riders and in good standing.
In our Apprenticeship program, you will have the opportunity to have a coach (on a volunteer basis) who will teach you the proper RULES OF THE ROAD and general safety in group riding. If you have passed the MSF class, and you have your licence, but you are not comfortable with your riding skills, someone from our group (on a voluntary basis only) will work with you (when time and weather permit) to help you obtain the confidence and skills you need to ride safely and to enjoy your new bike in a group situation. You will not be allowed to participate in any group ride until you have satisfactorily completed training and the decision will be solely at the instructor's judgement. You will, however, be allowed, and welcome, to join in all other CTVR functions and events.
Please contact one of our officers to get further information on this program.
